Just saw Elvis which was pretty solid by the way and was thinking of who they’ll make a movie of next. I imagine it’s only a matter of time until we get a Bowie or Cobain one

Kurt would want to have Courtney Love murder him again in his grave if he knew there was a blockbuster hollywood biopic about his life

It would definitely be Prince or Bowie.

We already had a Cobain and his final days and his life was short and I don't think studios believe that subject matter appeals to audiences. People wanna have fun, sing and dance with music biopics and morose suicidal grunge doesn't do it.

The Ramones. Does that sound like something you might be interested in?

They already did Stardust for Bowie. These music biopics are the new scourge of films. Even worse than the super hero and star wars crap.

Not a single one of those looks appealing outside of maybe Bob Marley and Michael Jackson.

That band...it's actually amazing they were able to produce music. They were all sleeping with each other and swapping girlfriends and they would retreat and live together on a studio ranch for 6 months to make music while everyone was cheating with everyone.

But...when it comes to slutty female rock n' roll...the Go-Go's would be a must-see biopic. I mean, by all accounts they were drug-addicted whores who were the first female band to buy into the punk scene and lifestyle.

The Doc by Allison Eastwood has a 98% RT score and...well, basically they were the female version of Motley Crue off the stage...or maybe the Sex Pistols.
