Meh, not sure why anyone would go out of their way to go see this.

This is my opinion as well. As long as they stay true to the character origin, I have no problem with it appearing to rip off of Marvel a little.

This is really silly. Wonder Woman is no more a ripoff of Captain America than CA First Avenger is a ripoff of the Wonder Woman TV show. Both characters were introduced in the same year in the same war- one a super soldier through injection of a serum and one the daughter of a female only tribe of Ancient Warriors. The only similarity is the wartime setting- which was integral to both characters.

Chris Pine is in it? Absolutely fricking pass. He is by far the worst actor in the world today.

Waiting for them to show the Gods of Olympus and the "Hey! They're ripping off Thor!" posts.

What type of accent is that supposed to be?

Greek. Diana is the daughter of Zeus and Themiscyra is supposed to be near Olympus.

Wonder Woman's time period predates The First Avenger by almost 30 years (WWI vs. WWII).

Also, is Danny Huston's character supposed to be Ares?

The irony is how Marvel ripped from DC shamelessly back in comic book days of yore.

They both have always and will always rip off of each other. It's how creativity in this space works.

Greek

There's a great throwaway Wonder Woman gag in Keeping up with the Joneses where Gadot's character says that she's Greek, but then admits that she's really Israeli.

The irony is that Captain America the "First Avenger" was a recycled concept that Simon and Kirby had created for a previous publisher. When Timely asked them to give them a new superhero, they dusted off their old character origin and added red, white, and blue.

Oh I agree, but people will still say it. That's why I said "appearing" to rip off Marvel. Again, as long as they stay true to the character, it doesn't matter if some people see it as "ripping". That's not DC's fault, that's just them staying true to the character and it's origin.

The sky looks blue in the trailer. One of us might be color blind.

I was going to ask if Wonder Woman can fly in the DCCU but looks like the trailer answered that with the last shot before fade to black. It's just not Wonder Woman if she can't fly.

Trailer looked decent, I'll definitely give this a watch.

Didnt people hate gadot as WW when it was annouced? She looks great as WW in my opinion

I need to see more of her but I really liked what little I saw in BvS and it was a good start for her.

However, I would still replace her with Bridget Regan if I could. She is Wonder Woman to me. She even has the blue eyes to boot and has quite a healthy frame on her compared to Gadot's leaner than usual frame.
