No way in hell Avengers is better than any of the Nolan directed movies.

As long as it doesn't feel rushed I think it should be a decent flick like all the previous Marvel movies, Thor, Captain America, Iron man, etc. Their acting isn't great but it's better than some other movies. Plus this a popcorn flick, not really trying to tell a story other than the main guys blowing shite up unlike TDKR

That looks badass. Marvel has done a good job with casting.
The chick looks like a waste of space though. Loki is a good villain for this movie. Being a god and all. Finding good villains was always the problem with Superman IMO.

Which I always say is unfortunate. If there is a damn good story, I can easily sit through a 3+ hour movie and I feel like many people are the same. LOTR were all long, but fricking awesome.
To really do The Avengers justice it needs to at least be 2 hours, 15 minutes or so imo.

Off topic but I don't think this is the case. They just overused Luthor. I'm looking forward to The Man of Steel but would rather see a true version of Brainiac than Zod.

luthor just seems to lame to be fighting superman. He's a bumbling mastermind obsessed with killing Supes with kryptonite. You're right, overused.
Any Superman sequels should have some physicaly formidable enemy.
