What the hell did I just watch? That movie was horrendous. Fredè Alvarez wrote this, he has come a long way since don’t breathe.

Leatherface isn’t supposed to be a Michael Myers or Jason Voorhees type character. He’s a mentally challenged brute used by his family to kill. I mean the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre is such a masterpiece and a lightning in the bottle of how it captured that time period of early 70s Americana. Leave it alone, these sequels are garbage (Part 2 is fun tho)

So you're completely fine with a 61-year-old Michael Myers doing the things he did, and surviving the things he did, in Halloween (2018) and Halloween Kills, but not okay with Leatherface doing what he did in Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2022)?

I was so excited for this and in the first scene I knew it was going to be bullshite. fricking stupid. Leatherface going after Austin transplants

Easily the best of the franchise other than the original, which is horror movie GOAT level.

As far as this movie is concerned, I had zero expectations going in and ended up being entertained for 75 minutes. However, I do agree that the ending was stupid.

Ugly young kids, old people, bad acting. I mean not one good looking actress. It’s a freaking horror film for god sakes.

That is what I'm saying. I was actually rooting for Leatherface. Except the Diesel Baw and the original survivor lady, the rest of the characters were so unlikable that it was more of a comedy.
A group of people auctioning off a ghost town to build a random mini town out in the hill country? You'd think they'd pick the place where Leatherface wasn't running around.
It def touched all the political hot topics, but no-one cares about special ed Leatherface and the lack of the wheelchair guy character was highly offensive.

It was a fun movie, it entertained me and that’s what it’s purpose was. I wasn’t expecting a Scorcese masterpiece ffs.
I liked how they poked fun at this millennial culture and also the anti gun people ending up using them to try to defeat evil.
I didn’t like diesel baw getting killed like that but oh well. Fun movie
