Not Netflix's fault.

I think it is. At a time when they could have bet big on the future the CEO and top execs were busy cashing out stock options and shying away from bold moves. Starz said they'd have stayed for a tiered pricing plan that protected their brand. HBO had also said they'd hop on NetFlix if the monthly price went up.

I know a lot of people bitched and moaned when they had a $5 price hike but their subscriber numbers have remained steady and they still are at 22 - 23 million subscribers. LINK

It's not too late for NetFlix, but they better not let Amazon/Google/Apple beat them to the punch. Or maybe that's their plan, maintain the customer base and let one of those 3 break the studios first.

I'm not sure what the term is, but I'd say the average American doesn't have the proper mindset to appreciate films like someone like you does.

It's hard to drop something when it's only $8 a month, but I've definitely been disappointed on Netflix recently.

Used to I could find something to watch in minutes....Now it takes 10-15 minutes if not more to find something, and there are times I search and search and search and can't find anything that I haven't seen already or simply have no interest in seeing. There are A TON of crap movies on Netflix that I have absolutely no desire to watch.

Avid movie-watchers (watch 5+ movies a week) at some point reach a point on Netflix where it's hard to find good stuff that you want to see.

My experience is this:

If I go to Netflix streaming and try to find specific titles, I'll sometimes go through 20 or more and never find anything.

However, if I just go and try to find something interesting to watch, there are plenty of options.
