Netflix Documentary: The American Meme

Anyone watched this yet?
It follows a handful of these so called "social media influencers" such as: Paris Hilton, The Fat Jewish, Brittany Furlan, Kirill, DJ Khaled, and has tidbits from other insta-famous people.
It pretty much showed what I imagined their lives being, but don't want to give away spoilers if any of you haven't seen it and are interested.
My end take on it is...sure, I'd take the money they earn, but I wouldn't take the life it takes to get it

i watched the preview for it, and it basically said they all hate their lives and are so miserable . and I decided to not watch it after that

Preview looked awful.
Bunch of fleeting C list celebrities crying because they crave attention while clearly doing this thing for attention
Brittany Furlan is one of the least talented people on this earth and somehow because a celebrity and a large sum of money by targeting pre teen demographics on the internet so I have a hard time finding sympathy for her

Yeah, there was one of them you could really tell has no life outside of social media. It was kinda depressing and sad to watch that person's point of view. The others were still interesting to watch. Fat Jewish seems to have a keen view of it all, but it could all be for show too.
I mean we all know Paris Hilton loves that shite, so it's not a shocker that she pretty much doesn't show she's miserable.

Yeah I thought he came off as among the worst, the clip of dan rather calling him out on his bullshite was hilarious. His reasoning or justification for straight up plagiarism was pathetic. The doc let him off pretty easily on the issue too. I had never heard of him before the documentary so I looked up the stories on it all, it was straight up theft.
I also laughed at Paris Hilton when she described it as such an honor to be compared to Jesus.

I think I tried to sound smarter than I am with using "keen" haha. I meant it more as he seems to be in the lifestyle pretty deep that all the hate and side effects from it don't seem to effect him in a bad way. I didn't see any sort of depression from him like a few of the others showed.
Brittany Furlan has for sure been f'd up mentally by the lifestyle. SPOILER.....her family story about her parents fighting. SHEESH!

She's not bad looking, but she's so annoying and unfunny to me. I couldn't stand the parts with her. Kirills instagram is pretty insane if you follow him. Dude pours champagne/milk on girls and slaps his stickers on their tits and asses pretty much every night at clubs. It would get old after awhile, but I'm sure he makes great money doing it.

Just watched it and thought it was really good. Really came away with a different perspective of Kirill. He was the most likable of the bunch and I genuinely felt sorry for him because you know he’s a lonely person when he’s not in the clubs.
