It's a out time Christina broke from her mold of picking powerhouse female vocalist... took her long enough. She might have a real shot this year.

Watching now (mostly in FFWD obviously).
Christina looks fricking GOOD again finally. At least now I'll have something to look at when I'm wanting to kick in my TV screen.
This Caroline chick sounds exactly like Melanie from two seasons ago. Like exactly.
31 minutes in and exactly two people have performed. Glad to see you up to the same old bullshite, NBC.
Carson still giving stupid, awkward, fake arse hugs to friends and family.
That Matthew dude is good. I hope he doesn't get worse over the course of the show (like Trevin did). He could go far though.
Adam and Christina are battling each other strong to see who can make the show more about themselves than the singers.
That last dude is fricking good. He'd have been stupid not to pick Adam. CeeLo sucks and Christina and Blake make really weird decisions late in this competition. Adam bro's it up sometimes (like with Tony), but I'd prolly pick him if all four turned for me (or Blake, though his loyalty to country is hard to overcome).

I thought several weak contestants got through... fodder for the battle rounds I guess.
And I was really surprised that no one turned around for the 15-year old Haiti refugee. Almost makes me think it's rigged a little.
The last dude was really good, I could see him or Matthew Schuler winning it all. No one else from day 1 is likely to see the live shows.

Dudes...hell yes. THIS times a trillion.
Most annoying thing on TV. Yet, oddly fascinating, like a train wreck, watching him backstage during the performances, getting all worked up, unnecessarily and inappropriately.
Sometimes you can see even some of the family members look at him like: "Dude. Chill."
