I think Nathan figured out the cringiest thing possible that his character could do

The scene with the age progression specialist made me cry laugh.

“Donald H. Trump”

That was really well done. The audience and Nathan both grow to like Bill as the show goes on. This was by far the most out of character Nathan has been.

When he goes, "Jesus, Bill," and starts laughing about what he said with the escort service... that was the first time I've ever remembered Nathan breaking.

I was not expecting to see Nathan in an Arkansas motel room with a chubby hooker, but this show brings awkwardness in all varieties and volumes.

That hooker hit it big. She got paid I bet a minimum of 5 grand just from Nathan plus the free publicity from the show

The season finale was interesting television, and you can go as far as you want to go in interpreting it.
Here are my thoughts:
1. It is interesting to see the difference between what one thinks in his head, and reality - distorted by age, distance, and memory. And how fast even the most elaborate of fantasies can disappear when confronted with just a grain of reality.
2. I'm not exactly sure what Nathan was trying to do with the hooker. I think he was trying to set it up as a mirror for Bill, to show how a man can be so caught up with his current "quest' (finding Frances), that he loses touch with who and what he is. Desperation is the theme, maybe? I don't think he pulled it off that great... it mostly seems disrupted from the main storyline and awkward. But, Nathan is the master of awkward humanity...
3. This was never about Frances so much as Bill breaking free from his self-loathing. I think he had to be forgiven by Frances. He was confusing "making it right" with winning her back and marrying her. He actually needed to make it right by admitting his mistake, and having her be okay with him again. Last night was about the quest for forgiveness, which, in way, is a nobler form of love.
4. Nathan is far more thought-provoking than most people think. His show seems silly on the surface, but it promotes basic humanity in a way that few others can.

What was she charging, $345 an hour just to hang out? Hilarious to think anyone would actually pay that to hang out with a chubby girl in a small town. I'm hoping she's another actress he hired.

She's an escort. Those lonely fools probably pay $345 to bang for 30 minutes

Bill is a misogynist that thinks life owes him but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't smiling when that second lady agreed to meet him.
I still can't get over the age progression specialist. Bringing a second printer

She was pretty cute for being a chubby escort. Most look run down and disease ridden. And my God.. I kept having to look away. So many awkward arse scenes. Bill singing to the reunion, Nathan making every scene awkward with the hooker, all of the role play scenes with the actress.

Nathan for You is the best show on television

Holy shite that Ding Dong daddy from Dumas performance
And holy shite the creepy rapist rehearsal with the fake Francis was intense. And then he put the wig on.
Also, This may be the best line I've ever heard:
I hate to use this term, but you gotta know what you're sticking it in.
There's no other show like this on TV

It's absolutely the most interesting and unique

This show has to keep going on somewhere. If Comedy Central cancels it, Hulu or Netflix needs to pick it up. There's never a bad episode.

What an absolute roller coaster. Holy hell that was such a tremendous episode.

Just watched the finale. What an unbelievable show. I'm just completely blown away by what I watched. I expected it to just be another normal episode but this whole thing took on a life of its own. I doubt Nathan intended for it to end up like but it's just brilliant.
As if I didn't already think Nathan's a genius, he just took it to another level.
