I lost interest in this one after the Kiki Camarena arc. Was Season 2 any good?

I really liked it.

Season 3 has a different showrunner so I'm going to expect a drop off, TBH.

Didn't S2 end with a cliffhanger teasing one specific Mexican drug lord?

It’s not the best season but it’s still really good. The show really hasn’t missed on any season outside of the second Pablo season being really drug out

I haven't had an issue with any of these so I'm in.

Wow. If they actually go to that broads perspective and voice for this season it will be terrible. Hopefully that’s just for the trailer, and they used Scoot McNairy’s character to tell the story again, but I can easily see them going for that woke narrative pivot.

Your bar for “woke narrative plot” is simply having a female voice over?

Honestly the show could do without the voiceover in general. Y’all find the weirdest ways to pre melt about these things

By woke I mean that they decided to switch to the female perspective for the season when it looks like they still have Scoot McNairy’s character involved. Not necessarily that this season will have a woke narrative.

Honestly it wouldn’t even be an issue if they decided to switch perspective to another character, male or female, but it’s the fact that this show LOVES it’s narration, and the chick’s voice in the trailer sucks. it will be really annoying listening to her for an entire season.

The narration is lazy but also very bad. I will tune in though. Have loved the previous ones.

A woman helped run one of the Mexican cartels at around the time this will cover. That’s not woke. It’s just history.

Really? Just because narcos activity isn't in the news doesn't mean it exists. The reason it isn't in the news because cartels kill local journalists that write shite about them. There is major cartel activity happening NOW. There are plenty of anonymous blogs that post about it but they are usually very graphic in content - so I avoid them.

Also, there is zero effort by this administration to curtail any illegal drug activity. People being shot to death in the streets of Mexico from raids have been replaced with Zoomers dying on american streets from heroine and fentanyl overdoses. I digress.

Anyway, you're wrong because no matter where they leave off after this season there are at least 10 untapped storylines that would easily fuel series into the next decade.
