No, that was the movie called "Into the Wild" about a young man who basically dropped out of conventional society and roamed the country and eventually made his way to Alaska.

He lived on that bus and got trapped in that area due to the river rising to where he couldn't cross it. He ate some plants that eventually killed him trying to survive.

It is the true story of Christopher McCandless.
