Agree with Kickass, one of my favorite movies now.

Warrior - thought it looked like another stupid fighter movie designed to attract only people that actually fight and what not.

Curious Case of Benjamin Button - very polarizing movie, going into the theater I thought I would hate it and leave like half way through. Stayed the entirety and enjoyed it.

That movie with Kevin Bacon where his son gets killed and he seeks revenge on the gang leader. Buys guns from John Goodman and turns out he's the gang bangers dad

We Bought a Zoo. Not saying it's a great movie, but I watched it very hungover on Saturday and actually enjoyed it. It was much better than what I expected.

zombieland. not really a zombie fan like most, but then again i'm a big harrelson fan.

kung fu hustle (lol)

I usually reserve judgment so this is sort of hard to think of atm.

I guess any Kevin Bacon film would apply here as well.

In what way did you think it was polarizing? I hadn't heard any of this "polarizing" talk. I thought it was a very good movie, but not quite great. I enjoyed it and watched it a couple of times.

Joe Dirt is a good answer to this question.

I'll add Spanglish, even though most on this board might think I'm crazy.

Exit Through the Gift Shop sounded like the last movie I'd ever enjoy based on the description but it was greatness.

I expected the Avengers to bore me like pretty much all superhero movies but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

These were both critically acclaimed so it probably shouldn't have been too much of a surprise.

I've had a thing for Moira Kelly for a long time because of that movie.
