I don't see how this works out. Sansa is a Stark and a Tully. She has no claim to the Iron Throne. She cant rule because being Jon's sister since she is a sister BY HIS STARK HALF not his Targaryen blood. Honestly, Gendry would have a stronger claim that Sansa.

To be fair, I could see the writers going that way because they are really trying to hype Sansa. But it's really a stretch.

Dude, idk..

Im still trying to put together how getting Sansa went from being a complete idiot to suddenly the "smartest of the Starks"

She was always smart she was just the epitome of a spoiled millennial OR Trust fund baby. SHe never applied herself, she was filled by with thoughts, by her own mother, about being queen of the kingdom and marrying into royalty. As far she she was concern she had it all.

Looks, breeding, money, and master all the ability a highborne lady should. When Joffery came and became her betrothed, everything that was told to her crystallized and became the truth. She didn't need to worry over much until she was betrayed via Joffery and Ned head.

That is her first changed. SHe was caught between flight or fight and still belived in those nonsense fairy tale up until Robb and her mother was confirmed killed. She realized then, it was all shite and thus started to arm herself. Baleish taught her her final lesson.

Trust no one.

Ramsay rape reinforced and so she became cold and calculating. Hard like pressurized coal into diamonds sharp enough to cut. She took Cersei advance on using her female form to get what she wants. She took margery advice on how to play a man and still retain control. She took Baleish advice and use his crush on her against him. She even using Tyrion now to sow discord among Daenerys top adviser.

DAenerys hated Sansa on the spot and vice versa. Why? Cause game recognize game.

Sansa don't want the Iron Throne or cared for it, she hates the south with a passion. Wild horses and promise of the seven kingdom mean shite to her. She would rather have the other six kingdom in chaos and return to a feudal system then rule over all. Winter fell is enough. The North survived long without the southern kingdom and they would survived long afterward.

She probably figured LF wasn't good after he gave her to the Boltons. I doubt think she figured out LF previous plots if it wasnt for 3ER Bran.

It would be very obvious to anyone that after the Red Wedding, there was a huge shortage of men. I get what your saying but this was mostly common knowledge.

I'm not going to bother with Ramsey, save that she should have told Jon the Vale was coming.

Because he sold her to Ramsey. That was how many years of him manipulating her? That wasn’t her figuring him out. That was him making a huge, out of character mistake.

More like all pretty women hate all other pretty women whom they see as potential rivals.

If I didn't know any better, I'd think Sansa wants to bang Jon and be his Queen. She clearly wants to be Queen. She only uses Jon because people are loyal to him and will fight for him to achieve Sansa's goals.

Jon executes her for treason against Dany. I’m basing this off of the dire wolves. So far each character has met the same fate as their wolf. Lady was killed by someone close to her.

Incorrect. She just found out that Jon is her cousin.

Technically sansa has had a better claim then Jon. Jon is/was a snow. Not a Stark. Bran has the strongest claim to Winterfell.

She had the opportunity to be a really interesting character, but the show has forced her into a pretty boring niche. None of the awesome nuance and strategy that she's earned has been displayed. Instead, we get a 2 minute conversation with the hound to "tell" us she's different. Such a waste of a character.

, you make this complaint in the same thread where people are bitching about her going from dumb to smart.

All of those people see she's changed/developed, but you don't?

Nymeria/Arya: ran away
Grey Wind/Robb: killed by the Freys/Boltons
Shaggy Dog/Rickon: killed by Ramsey/Umbers
Lady/Sansa: killed by close family member?
Summer/Bran: ripped apart by the undead?
Ghost/Jon: retire north of the Wall?

Worst case, she rules the North. If Dany sits on the throne, she never bends the knee because Jon has and the North is still quasi-independent as Dany doesn't pish the issue. If Cersei wins, the North really is independent, completely outside of the Iron Throne's jurisdiction. Cersei will likely never have the power nor the will to send forces North to subjugate her (it's almost better for Sansa if Cersei wins)

And the north is really the north now.

No point in having a wall rebuilt, and the wildlings people arent killing men. Plus everything that was north of that wall (giants, thenns, etc) are likely extinct now.

No, she figured him out when he played his “what’s the worst” game and indicated Arya wanted to be lady of WF

She told Jon they weren’t getting Rickon back alive and not to fall into Ramsay’s trap

This. If she tells Jon the Vale is on its way, then he doesn't commit his forces to the fight early to get slaughtered.

On the flip side, Ramsey would see that he is facing a far larger force, and likely would not order his forces to sally forth and meet Jon's army out in the open. The Knights of the Vail being able to rout Ramsey's forces and capture Ramsey alive while avoiding a lengthy siege were not possible without Jon rushing into a battle with inferior forces. Jon was unwittingly the bait in a trap which Sansa sprung on Ramsey, counting on Ramsey's bloodthirst to mow down a visibly weaker foe.

If Jon had waited for the Knights of the Vale, the resulting strategy would have been a lengthy siege of winterfell, for which Ramsey's forces were far better provisioned and prepared. Taking the castle in such a siege would have likely been far MORE costly than the casualties suffered by Jon's wilding host in the Battle of the Bastards. Plus, Sansa managed to rid Jon of the bulk of his "troublesome" allies (the Wildlings) that were critical to turning other Northern houses against him.
