What's funny is my sisters believe she dropped it on purpose too. Obviously whatever the answer there is no doubt that...

Dropping it on purpose because she loves her sister and thinks nothing of betraying her team (and sport) is the FEMALE perspective.

Dropped it because Kit raised her game while Dottie was losing heart and the film needed to let her go home without regrets at still being the best is the MALE perspective.

YES. Because none of the events of the movie leading up to the home plate collision support your argument.

or is it also just based on your subjective analysis?

Do you really not understand that it is your argument that is subjective?

I just looked up the boxscore for the game an E2 was charged in the 9th on the visting team and the final run was scored as unearned. So based on the scorekeeper's view she dropped it on purpose.

splain, using concrete examples of your assertion, without subjective analysis.

I understand that both of our positions are based on subjective analysis. However, I did not equate myself with Galileo to wiggle out of a proverb.

I love when people don't understand that subjective arguments can be made more or less valid by use of context and support. They just argue "it's all subjective!" as if no one's argument is any stronger than the others.

I'm telling you alajones, you are going to go insane trying to argue with the adamant "dropped it on purposers".

There can be no diplomacy to settle our differences, only war. I've come to terms with this, and I am ready.

I was responding to your blatant disrespect for the English language.

Quit being so f'ing obtuse. He used the Galileo comparison to counter your idiotic "more people think this so you must be wrong" line of thinking. You really don't understand that analogy? Jesus...

concrete examples

she came BACK to the team in the middle of the championship series because she realized how bad she wanted it*

final game when she was playing her arse off and helping her team to win the game with great hitting and a top notch performance on defense*

Kit was barreling towards home (defying the stop call mind you) and Dottie secured the throw and turned to face the runner.*

She clearly couldn't have planned it ahead of time, so you must believe she made this conflicting decision in a couple of seconds. And the movie then made no mention or even hint of it afterward.*

But what is in the movie is Dottie telling Georgia Peach how to strike out Kitt. Why would she do that if she wanted Kitt to win?

Now please give me your concrete, non-subjective reasons.

She decided to drop it when Kit rounded 3rd.

I never claimed to have them, you did.

The facts you stated are not concrete evidences toward either assertion, fwiw.

You keep proving that it isn't, with each consecutive post.

You have no concrete evidence to support your minority view, therefore your assumption of the Galileo identity is completely invalid

The strategic placement of the montage, based on my own subjective analysis.

Also, chick barehanded a fastball but couldn't hold on during a collision with an infinitely familiar opponent? Right.

Wow. You are such a child and clearly outmatched in this debate that you would turn to this tactic.

An obvious typo of you're/your in which the word is properly used at the tail end of the same sentence and you reference it as "blatant disrespect for the English language?"

Talk about obtuse.

No, that was commentary on one post. I have engaged this debate quite deliberately and thoroughly.
