it's actually more powerful than that. drugs are addictive, but they're nothing like your body telling you that you're going to starve

I caught part of one last night. It was extremely laughable.
The fat lady was spouting off about how food addiction is the worst kind of addiction because you need food. Yes you need food, but you don't need 5 big macs and 20 chicken nuggets with a 60 oz soda in one sitting.
And genetics was clearly not the cause because her sister was quite pretty.

The 'Melissa's Story' episode is I think the only one I could watch straight through, I think she went on to work at the clinic and is generally doing well.

Heroin or overeating? I would say the science is pretty clear on the former.
