Watching Predator on Father’s Day. The helicopter scene with Long Tall Sally by Little Richard is burned in my head. No matter where I am if I hear that song, this movie comes to my mind.

Break on Through from the Doors reminds of Jarhead, when they use it ironically.. "that's Vietnam shite, can we get our own fricking music?"
War- Lowrider reminds of Dazed and confused, that riding around scene. That was basically my teenage years in the early 90s, different cars, different music, same vibe.

Came on at a sports bar that me and the Mrs. were at last night. Legit one of my least favorite songs of all time. I think I feel that way in part because of Orange County. Love every time that song came on the dumb cheerleader chicks were dancing to it. Definitely makes me think of that movie every time.

the entire Top Gun soundtrack makes me very nostalgic not for the 80s, when it came out, but for the 90s, when i personally became a huge fan of the movie. i ultimately ended up joining the military in no small part due to the influence Top Gun had on me.
