I think they should run an additional season where they just cast all new people that are both personable and athletic. With no need to be tied to a previous show. Like nothing but Fresh Meat style players. One of two things will happen.
1) It will produce a handful of beasts that are entertaining enough to be folded into the main show.
2) it will just be a better show than the main show and we can have it too.

One thing I wish they did was find younger people like 21-23 should be their target for new contestants IMO
On a seperate note Jenna is a beast in eliminations. I believe she's got the 5th most elimination wins all time after Cara, Wes, Bananas and Anessa
And another seperate note. I wish I had appreciated how crazy a team Zach and Amanda were

Been watching previous seasons on CBS. What are yalls top 5 szns? Really not liking bloodlines
Posted on 9/2/20 at 4:51 pm to Sweaters
Bloodlines is really terrible. You gotta go back further than that to watch better seasons. My favorite, in no particular order probably are:
Rivals I
Fresh Meat II
The Duel I
The Duel II
The Gauntlet III (really because of the epic finale where Eazy dies in the final).
Final spot could easily be subbed for Inferno III.
These are mostly based on the cast and their interaction with one another. For the best blend of cast and actual competetivness, just watch every season from about 2008-2012.

I think your list is good
I would say
1. Big Easy
2. Jay
3. Ryan from Fresh Meat
4. JD
5. Mike from Las Vegas even though I really liked him on the show and on his Real World season.
Much like Cory’s cousin Mitch he just doesn’t fit in at all with the rest of the cast but he is always going to be loved by his Vegas people.
I think Johnny Reilly was pretty damn good on Free Agents, especially in the final. I’ve always been surprised how he and Averey didn’t become bigger on the Challenge.

If you go back and watch the early seasons that Big Easy was on, he was actually kind of good.
He won multiple daily challenges in the Duel, he actually had a faster 40 time than Kenny on Fresh Meat 1 and absolutely no one wanted to face him in the old style eliminations where they were nearly everything was some kind of physical test.
By no means was he the best player there, but he wasn't that bad.
All that changed, though, after the Gauntlet 3 finale. After that no one wanted any part of him on their teams and if anything required running or endurance, he was a giant anchor on your team. He obviously lost all his confidence, too, and then no one was afraid of his eliminations anymore either. Th
He was really good at Hall Brawl.l, but that was about it. He was apparently really liked by the cast on his first few seasons as well. CT said he used to be his drinking buddy and they'd down Jack Daniel's and smoke and party every night on Gauntlet 3.
He may very well be the worst make every to be a part of your team if you want to win, but I don't think he was the worst competitor ever.
I'd say Tyrie was the worst regular make challenger ever, especially since he claimed he played football at Nebraska. And honestly, Dunbar was maybe even worse. He never did anything. He never won anything and I believe he never won an elimination. At least Eric won sometimes.
They're all terrible.

Oh there are far worse guys than Big East but they didn’t make finals or even get close. Tyrie and Danny are two great examples.
I forgot Dunbar made a final. He’s definitely up there on the worst male finalists.

Dunbar's first season was the Island I think. On like week 2, Abe had to go home and tend to a business situation because he couldn't communicate with the real world that season.
He already had a key to make the final and then literally gave it to Dunbar because he thought he would be a good leader to build the boat.
The rest of the season Dunbar never went into an elimination and skated the whole time. At the last minute, Ev stole his key and he was left stranded. It was glorious.
Danny was the exact same. He never won anything. Even when he was all juiced up that one season, he still got absolutely smoked in an elimination by Adam.
An elimination between Dunbar, Danny, and Tyrie would have been epic. Just shittiness all around.

As a competitor Mike was much better than Vince its not even close. At times I thought Mike kind of carried Leroy.
Im bias against Johnny Reilly I hated him on the RW. He was kept around as a layup on Free Agents and to his credit beat Zach to finish 2nd but he was horrendous as a partner. After Zach he's probably the worst partner you could get as female.
Also as weak as Dunbar was he actually won a Final and actually didnt look too weak doing so. He can't be in the same conversation with Vince, Jay, Ryan and Big Easy
Also as for worst male challengers who were on at least 2 seasons Derrick Henry from AYTO who was partners with Tori is possibly even worse than Tyrie

Las Vegas Mike is nowhere near the worst guy ever. He did 1 season as a week 1 replacement and legitemetly made it to the final as a total Rookie team.
In hindsight we found out that Leroy wasnt that great. On that season though he looked like the black CT.
Mike guided him on all the in-game strategy and Leroy was the muscle. It's actually one of the better pairings in the history of the show. He just wasn't phycially capable of that kind of final... But the dude made it to the last stage before bowing out.
Big Easy wouldn't have made it past the canoe stage on that Final.
Others would have never even gotten that far.

fricking Dunbar.
Easily one of my least favorite ever, and one of the worst competitors ever. I saw him at the NOLA airport once and he was fricking TINY. I am a short dude, and he couldn't have been an inch or maybe 2 taller than me. He was 5'8" max.
He just sucked and I hated him pretty much universally.

Always loved that shite when you could tell who had easily never held a paddle or been in a boat/canoe/kayak before. So much paddling in circles and general ignorance when it came to paddling a boat.

Am I right that Jenna has the 5th most elimination wins after Wes, Cara, Anessa and Bananas? If its true why do they still even on the most recent season act like she's a layup?

When Mike and Leroy got in their Kayak's for the final, Leroy said to Mike: "You're in the front, you need to steer."
I just laughed aloud at the stupidity.
You'd think these regulars would all learn how to swim and paddle a boat in their down time.

Just finished Invasion of The Champ. Nicole Z and Laurel are the worst relationship ever.
Also Miz is the best host.

Ammo was only on Dirty 30 I think.
Posted on 9/8/20 at 3:48 am to TotesMcGotes
And he won an elimination and actually gave Jordan a run for his money in elimination. He's no where near the worst male competitor ever. Heck he probably wouldn't even be in the bottom 10
Also The first Duel Season is probably the best season ever competitively. In a cast of 20 you had like 13 champions and I think every single person would finish their "career" with at least 1 Final except Beth I think
Wes Bergmann
Brad Fiorenza
Chris "CT" Tamburello
Evan Starkman
Eric Banks
Derrick Kosinski
Nehemiah Clark
Kenny Santucci
Tyler Duckworth
John Devenanzio
Jodi Weatherton
Svetlana Shusterman
Aneesa Ferreira
Diem Brown
Kina Dean
Robin Hibbard
Beth Stolarczyk
Casey Cooper
Paula Meronek
Tina Barta

So does anyone know why Jenny isn’t on the show now? She was a last minute drop. Did she test positive for the coronavirus?
Everyone else dropped was a potential rookie alternate except for the Derrick who is muscular but just sucks at challenges.

Deul I and Inferno 3 both had stacked casts. Duel is better though and Wes totally manipulated that game and won. He actually should have lost the final, but Brad was dogshit at soccer and Wes got a 2 minute lead by acing penalty kicks.
Brad's final time was actuary better Than Wes' but he still lost. That's brutal. Brad was kind of always jinxed. I think he's the only guy who ever beat CT and Landon head to head in a eliminstion but had bad luck in many of his seasons.
And if anyone is looking for a good interview with some real nuggets from the glory days of the challenge, Kenny just went on a podcast and spilled a lot of beans. LINK
Said CT was always coked up when he came onto challenges and that the show had edited him into something he's not. He said, yeah he's a really tough dude and used to be a phenomenal athlete, but he was a joke on the show. Said RW Vegas Frank punked him like a bitch on Gauntlet 3 but they never showed the whole scene (I actually remember this altercation and Frank was not scared in the least bit). Said no one could trust a word he said and that he was actually a really nice guy outside of the show but once he got there he had to play a character. He also said Wes and Johnny last season making up was just for show.
Both of them are smart and know what makes good TV. Said Johnny has also made a great living off of the show and said he thinks everyone should know who he is when he goes in public places.
He also said he gave Paula 5K from his winnings on the Island. there was a deal that everyone in the winning boat was supposed to do the same but he later found out that no one else did.
Said he lost 30 lbs on a 30 day shoot for the island and that he and Johnny broke into production' food banks that season and stole a bunch of food then got caught and both fined $7500.
Abe did it first and never got caught.
There's a lot more there. Kenny seems like he knows how much money he could have made had he been able to stay on the show, but he is also right when he says that many of the recent seasons have just been duds.
