At the end of the Half In The Bag for TLJ, they pretty much all said that they weren't the least bit interested in seeing Episode IX.
I mean there pretty much is no reason to see it tbh

I could not give a shite about the fuel or the hyperspace tracking or any of that. The movie fails at a fundamental level with all its charachters and plot points. And if they had made a good movie nobody would bring up any of that stuff except the nerdiest of nerds.

I don't know what else to say about it that hasn't already been said
I loved the OT whole heartedly and while we can complain about Ewoks...no one really cared. It was a beloved property that was a defining movie experience to behold even though I didn't get to watch it till the 90s.
I loved the characters, the universe, and the stories.
The prequels were a missed opportunity and left a bad taste in my mouth but as stated George had good intentions he just made a lot of mistakes.
Disney gave us a soft reboot/ANH remake which people tolerated and supported with the intent being to trust them that new adventures were coming. They defiled that trust and honestly crippled a previously unsinkable property.
IDK I have no expectations of Star Wars being something for me ever again. Disney is slapping their agenda all over it and have kind of tainted something with politics and bullshite that was never meant for the universe.
Instead of admitting they screwed up and mishandled the project...they doubled down by calling anyone who didn't like TLJ a racist, a Nazi, etc vs saying we just made a bad SW movie.

I think this, even more then a bad movie, is what has Disney in hot water with the Star Wars franchise. If Disney had kept quiet and even, very mildly, acknowledged that TLJ wasn't quite what they hoped for then they'd be fine now and Solo probably would have a much nicer box office haul.
Telling your primary customers that you think they are a bunch of racist, sexist, Nazi assholes... it might not be the best way to get them to come and see other movies in the franchise.

A very expensive mis-calculation.
But as others have said, its not a boycott. Its just a lack of interest. My time is valuable to me. I won't waste it on something I know I won't enjoy.

I always thought the clones would be something else.
When I was younger I envisioned the Clone Wars being a battle of Mandalorians (multiple armor colors) vs. Jedi.

yeah keep Paul Feig far the frick away from Star Wars. We'll have an all female cast playing Hana Solo, Chewbecca, and Lucy Skywalker.
Don't forget Lee Solo to be the token guy that's a bimbo like Chris Hemsworth. I liked Paul Feig in Heavyweights at least.

This is the first time I'm seeing those deleted scenes form TLJ.
I forgot how beyond fricking incompetent the people who made this film were.
How have I missed the threads on these? There's no way those can be real. Those look like the most absurd absurd things I've ever seen.

I don't think there is a thread on the deleted scenes.
I haven't been able to find a site online that has them all.
The three worst are:
A stormtrooper giving Finn an 'attaboy' right on his arse along with some of the cheesiest dialogue you'll ever hear.
Phasma shooting her own men after Finn tells them she was a coward in TFA...and not shooting Finn himself.
Rose biting Hux.

Almost positive that's Tom Hardy under the helmet. No idea what he's trying with that southern accent

He must be from that redneck planet we never hear about.

It's Jonah Hill.
Edit: Nope. It's Tom Hardy. Cause why wouldn't Rian Johnson tell him good, but play it with a little more retard. Try to sound as stupid as possible. We're not making a real movie here anyway.

Not okay with that or fuel concerns. Nowhere in the prior 8 films had spaceship gas tanks been mentioned.
That's been lost in the post-release hate, but I remember having a WTF reaction to that when they started wringing their hands about being low on fuel.
Rian Johnson sucks for so many reasons, not the least of which is all of the ridiculous stuff he tried retcon into the SW universe (weaponizing hyperspace, space tracking, fuel considerations, not having to be special be a Jedi, etc).

For the life of me, I never understood the strategy of putting a finger in the eye of one of the most dishard fan bases in all of American culture.
Granted, maybe Disney thought that by doing this they could extend the appeal of the franchise beyond this "niche" group, but it backfired fantastically.

Ironic the one time you can understand Hardy is the time you wish you couldn't.
