Call it all you want. But, I thought it was pretty obvious. You had a crazy dude that sets up a sadistic mind game that you have to figure out. It never showed him shoot himself and he was seemingly insignificant. I just put 2 and 2 together. But, like I said it was also frikin stupid and irrelevent which is why I was hoping that I was wrong.

Sitting in the theater with my girlfriend, both of us praying that it wasn’t that obvious, what makes it worse is the fact that it spawned four other movies.

The Departed. Everybody shot everybody. I didnt know what the hell was going on.

This was an American take on a Chinese movie called Infernal Affairs. They did not change very much from the original just made it what they thought would be more American. FWIW the original is way better.

Spin a thread off the best movie endings because none of them are really unpredictable anymore.

Primal Fear
Usual suspects
Sixth Sense
Memento - fantastic movie that doesn't seem to get much play.
Before the devil knows your dead - but that whole movie made me want to shoot myself. One of the more depressing movies I've ever seen, but it's good.

A Clockwork Orange. I still don't know why they were having sex in the snow with an audience applauding.

The Departed

It was a good movie all together so I predicted a good ending, but damn! My jaw was still on the floor when the credits were half way through.

The Mist - the movie itself was lacking in many areas but I never saw that ending coming.

Burn After Reading.

Everything that goes on and in the end, nothing happens.

Saw got me, but I wasn't really surprised by it. I knew it was something like that.

6th sense, I caught right away for some reason. When Willis went to the door without knocking and the lady opened it and he went in without her saying anything, I was like "is he a ghost or something".

Fight Club. completely got me. Didn't see it coming whatsoever and it spawned a ton of movies that did shite really similar to it. Fight Club the second time you watch it is better then the first because you know what is going on.

+1

This movie is very underrated, and after all the crap he goes through to try to get on that train, you think he's going to ride off into the sunset...and his right-hand man and Bennie the Bitch take him down. I'm still pissed.

Usual Suspects was a great ending. I think when I watched it originally, Verbal was the only one of the group I never thought was Keyser Soze.

I agree with Carlito's Way to an extent... except that they show the ending at the very beginning.

Damn. Forgot about that part. You still don't know he's going to die at the beginning, but you know something's happened. It is such an aggravating and yet perfect ending.
