Close the thread, definitely the most shocking ending I've ever seen.

I didn't know anything about the book so Fight Club was pretty surprising to me. Derailed caught all of my friends but I figured it out right at the beginning which ruined it for everyone else

I was 70% wowed by Fight Club and 30% pissed off.

TD wasn't real? That's nearly as bad as a "oooh! It was all a dream!" but not quite.

Yeah it was a bit annoying but I liked how they went back and showed edward norton in all of the scenes by himself.

found this on imdb

In the short scene when Brad Pitt and Edward Norton are drunk and hitting golf balls, they really are drunk, and the golf balls are sailing directly into the side of the catering truck.

Yeah I was pretty pissed off that TD wasn't real either. Oh well. The Pixies song at the end made the ending.

Most recently, Gran Torino. Didn't really expect that at all.

Arlington Road was a good one too.

I had read the book for Fight Club. I knew about Durden, but the book ends differently. So the blowing up of all the buildings was a shock.

Primal Fear and Arlington Road are good calls.

No Way Out shocked me. I saw the end of Hard Candy coming, but still... wow.

dude, this was the most predictable shite i have ever seen

and for the guy that said arlington road, +1. this is one of those really really good movies that most people seem to forget about

and how about se7en. i had no idea it was going to end that way. i thought it was obvious that something along those lines was going to happen, but that totally threw me off

Actually, I thought it was going to be the aborted fetus in the box, so I was relieved when it was her head.

No Country for Old Men.

Halfway through it I was thinking this movie is incredible. I love it, then everyone dies, bad guy wins.

Never expected that.

Sixth Sense.

I'm usually good at getting things, but I missed all the clues in that one.
How about the ending of St. Elsewhere? All in the mind of a poor man's retarded child! He really thought the world of his dad.
