One more mini quasi-fun fact: The guy that played Partlow was an extra in the fourth episode, playing the role of a court room officer. I guess shite got real for him between season one and three.

However, the correct answer to the OP is Brandon Wright. That was Omar's BF that was killed in S1. It laid the foundation for Omar's turn and outright vendetta that shaped much of the series.
