The end of "The last Unicorn" was pretty dramatic. Not the happiest of endings.

That movie fricked me up as a kid.

That one is brutal.

Simba finding Mufasa is brutal.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned any scenes from An American Tale

Red Ferns.

I don't think I have ever heard so many kids crying at one time in a theater.

Most of the good ones have been mentioned, but the people getting scrambled and killed by the transporter in the G rated Star Trek TMP was pretty intense for a little guy like me at the time.

So many scenes in this one.

Also the scene from Rock A Doodle when the Grand Duke Owl uses magic to strangle
Edmund.

Or when you grow up and realize Chanticleer was a once great small town country star and became a washed up alcoholic Lounge singer in Vegas dating an abused prostitute and working for her pimp.

I wore that tape out as a kid. I made my parents put it on over and over again.

To this day, if an electronic device dies I will sing "we're running out, we're running out, we're running out of batteries, ha ha ha ha ha ha"

An American Tail is one of the most emotionally underrated movies. No one talks about it, but it will kick you right in the feels
