How about Walt Jr? The poor kid was handicapped and was being raised by two criminals to boot.

Aside from children or truly minor characters that we barely know, the only characters in either show who actually seemed like actually good, decent people were probably Elliot and Gretchen, which is of course ironic since Walt treated them like they were both Satan incarnate.
And I guess Hank, too, but he is just SUCH a douche.

Off topic, but did you guys know that the actress who plays Mel on The Pitt is Bryan Cranston's daughter?

Nobody in the game is truly sympathetic so that takes nacho and Jesse out.
Of somewhat significant characters, it’s easily Howard.
He got caught up in Jimmy/kim’s scheme as a target while Jimmy was deep in the game and well you know what happened.
The German engineer is another one.

While not a major character, I sympathize with Donald Margolis. He’s probably in the running for killing the most people on the show, but it wasn’t malicious or intentional.
