Terrible news, but I get it. Working 90 hours a week (I'm sure there's some exaggeration there) would beat anyone up. I don't get how it's so expensive though.

Didn't this happen a year ago?

I mean, once they released the cast from their contracts, that was about it.

contracts can be resigned. sure this was expected, but only now is it becoming official. before this it was only on hiatus while Fincher finished another project.

I’m cool with this if we get another Fincher thriller as a result

It really was. It was as if Criminal Minds were historical fiction.

Really well done. This guy in particular nailed it

I liked Mindhunter, but it wasnt good enough to justify the opportunity cost of other Fincher stuff we could be getting IMO.

The guy that looked like Lane Kiffin kind of got annoying towards the end of season 2. I wish we could get the script or a summary of how the show would have ended.

I’m gonna get downvoted im sure but he’s not a good actor. And my proof is that I knew for 100% fact that the actor was gay, based on his performance as a straight guy. And I had never heard of the actor prior to the show. I shouldn’t be able to tell that.

Word. I’m binging House of Cards now, and I like it much more than I expected. I mean, I expected to like it, but not this much. I wonder how much Fincher actually had to do with the look, tone, etc...of the show. Sometimes big time directors just attach their names as producers to attract talent and money, other times they basically do the directing (since it’s Halloween season, as Speilberg is rumored to have done for Poltergeist in place of actual director—and director of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Toby Hooper). I’m sure it’s somewhere in the middle like most instances, but I’ve not yet read about Fincher’s influence.

You really do seem to always have the worst takes. At least you’re consistent.
