And of course, one of the best scenes in the entire series.

Been there, done that - rolling out knowing some shite is going to go down, and just calmly accepting it for what it is.

Doesn't matter where I am or what I am doing when this song comes on, it hits the same way every single time.

Sonny was a WR who had a 95 yard TD catch with 6 seconds remaining to beat Bama. Also caught the game winning TD in the Gator Bowl.

Another great episode is Evan. Unfortunately I can't get the actual scene, but the gas station scene is extremely well done.

Miami Vice - Evan gas station

Jan Hammer nailed the music, and not just in this scene.

Nobody is mentioning the opener montage where the girl on the surfboard bounced her boobs to the beat of Jan Hammer?

Genius!

Is this show streaming anywhere? I never see it on any of the major services.

It was streaming on NBC a couple years back. My wife and I were both 80’s kids but neither watched it when it ran, so we decided to watch it streaming. NBC yanked the show suddenly when we were midway through season 3.
