Also episode 3 was definitely intended to make the viewer feel bad for gloria. I do not feel bad for gloria.

Exactly. She's already a confirmed liar. She's had 25 years to come up with a sob story. She currently benefits from the McMillions' producer who is sympathetic to her, and who can edit her footage in such a way as to make her seem worthy of sympathy. Why should we trust a goddamned word she says?

And I'm not saying that other people in her shoes wouldn't have taken the money. I think most people would have. But it doesn't make her a fricking victim.

What a bunch of dumbasses they were for falling for the hey you could win a trip to Vegas if you let us video your story.

No way in hell I'd have agreed to that knowing that I had received the winning game piece in a scrupulous manner. You'd think the monsters gave them standing orders to not talk about it to anyone after they recieved the initial prize money. Especially several years after the fact. They had to know they'd eventually get looked at or questioned by LEO.

That’s not really how they were propositioned for this. And it was years after it happened.

They also probably didn’t even view what they did as a crime or atleast one worthy of an FBI sting operation.

Hindsight is 20/20 I don’t think it would be absurd at all to believe the story the fbi was selling, especially after all the media press they had done with McDonald’s previously already

Let’s not understate the fact that this likely never gets uncovered without the random tip they got about it being rigged, and if Doug didn’t find it interesting. It’s much more likely it simply gets lost in the shuffle

I'm just interested now in how uncle Jerry actually got the game pieces and how the feds finally caught them.

Seriously. Could've been a 90 minute documentary.

Not to mention the fact that she apparently completely mismanaged the winnings. Oh boo hoo I have to pay taxes on all of it and only get to keep part of the free money. Yeah she’s more annoying, than sympathetic

I’m not trying to look up spoilers but I would guess they probably became witnesses against Uncle Jerry in lieu of a harsher punishment

Did I space to make a sandwich or do we have to wait for how Jerry did it?

I don't remember the episode that explains what we're all waiting for...

All they explained was the high security.

First 3 episodes was just whodunit.

Not get to the meat and potatoes.
