Marvel’s Runaways heading to Hulu

That’s all changed today though as it has been announced that Marvel Television will bring the fan-favourite characters to the small screen on popular streaming service, Hulu.
A brief synopsis for the show has been revealed, and it sounds like it will be sticking closely to the comic book penned by Brian K. Vaughan. “Every teenager thinks their parents are evil. What if you found out they actually were? Runaways is the story of six diverse teenagers who can barely stand each other but who must unite against a common foe – their parents.”
Gossip Girl’s Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage will write and serve as showrunners, and Jeph Loeb, executive producer and Head of Marvel TV, had this to say about the duo. “We’ve known the Runaways’ story would make great television, and being lucky enough to have Josh and Stephanie–who have time and again created shows that speak so genuinely to this exact audience–write and produce the series is nothing short of remarkable.”

That's NOT the big reveal. I mean, that's the basic concept of the comic. When I picked up issue #1, I knew about their parents being super villains. It's the basic premise. The twists come later...

Just finished episode 8. Show is okay. It's taken way too long to get to this point in the story though.

I've been watching. Through episode 8 as well. I've enjoyed it. It's a good binge show, but I don't know if I'd have stayed with it if I were going weekly with it like they intend.

Finally finished this. Agree that it takes a long time to get going.
Appreciate that they used practical effects for the close ups of Old Lace. TBH they probably should have used more of them than they did.
The adults sure do stand around debating a lot of the time.

Glad this made it and not inhumans, though I would have preferred both
