She was a married-lesbian latinx immigrant from Argentina, who moved to Seattle, then eventually to L.A. What agenda could she possibly have had?

I don't know about all that, but if folks didn't like Chapek, they're aren't going to like Iger 2.0. Disney is in a death spiral and they're in denial of why, so there is no reasonable expectation that it even can be fixed, much less the guys there now will fix it.

She was apparently fired because of the toxic environment she created. She worked in VFX meaning she had no input on story or any sort of writing. She apparently was so bad that some VFX companies refused to work with her. Sounds like she’s a shitty person and finally got the boot. But if the tards want to think it has anything to do with politics then sure let them I guess

Even if it wasn't for her politics, she certainly was very political in statements she made to the media. Identity politics was one of her things. Identity politics is trash.

This is really the answer to her firing that I'm seeing. She created a toxic work environment and even maintained a blacklist for many VFX professionals.

Yea, her politics had absolutely nothing to do with the toxic environment she made. Some of yall are so beyond help.

Because all Hollywood execs just "walk away" from a top 3 position at the biggest movie studio/franchise in cinema history with no other job announced.

Yeah, those Hollywood folks always do that...

No some of you people get so lost in political bullshite y’all apply to literally every aspect of your life. There’s literally no reason to make the connection other than your own bias. If the production business in the movie industry is anything like gaming it has far more to do with being overworked and insane deadlines and little help. Which is pretty damn likely especially given how quick these turnaround times have been recently and how suddenly Marvel has decided to space things out more

This is objectively false. If she preaches identity politics to the media do you not think that plays a part in the work environment she creates? These people aren't robots. It's not "go to job. do job. leave job. repeat."

There's obviously a lot more going on that just that, but it's there and it certainly has influenced her decisions over the last several years. Maybe she's a scapegoat for the recent meh movies. I don't know, but I'd rather not have someone ate up with intersectionality and identity politics making decisions on the MCU.

Igers actions so far seem to indicate the board and shareholders are not happy with the direction of the company. Woke is fine as long as it doesn’t affect the bottom line, and it seems the powers that be are not buying the Baghdad Bob approach of “Nothing to see here, move along”

The house of mouse is so huge with such a huge IP that it can 100% be righted. You’ve just got to purge people that are only concerned with woke identity politics and replace them with people concerned about good story telling.

She’s in VFX, not a ton you can do aside from hiring when it comes her being “woke”. Again all people are doing here are creating narratives to serve their own agendas, not unlike what she did. There was isn’t much information on what was toxic but given some similar toxic environments in the gaming industry it has to do with ridiculous deadlines and being insanely overwhelming which again is likely as Marvel has been pumping out movies and shows quickly

You're free to explain what other factors shaped the toxic culture she created. We all know you won't, because you know damn well her politics are what did it. These are your people, and this is the kind of culture yor beliefs create.
