Kang Dynasty, if done right, has the potential to be a multi-film arc similar to Thanos through phases 1-3.

The story it is based on pretty much involved Kang and his son, Scarlet Centurian, prepping for an invasion of modern Earth and it ended up being a year long saga tying together a number of different elements and outside context problems before it was resolved.

The continuity porn aspect of it with regards to Carol and Scarlet Centurian can be greatly rolled back but things like having an unrelated villain such as Master Of The World taking aim at Earth’s countries and Kang at the same time makes for a good potential movie in the arc.

That's exactly what everyone is stating. I'm just trying to see where Doom fits into all of this. Would be epic if Kang is the precursor to Doom

Pretty sure all of these dudes were in the old version of the show. I know Cable, Bishop and Nightcrawler were. (and Forge, who's in the pic you linked).

Guessing they're just giving us some looks at the new animation.

Doom is potentially the “outside context threat” in place of Master Of The World.

Different adaptations have used Doom in different ways. At least one has for him to be ostensibly a villain but will save the world because he doesn’t want someone else conquering it but him. The Avengers Earth’s Mightiest Heroes show ran with this and had him figure out there was a Skrull invasion and how to detect them but he didn’t tell anybody until he deemed it necessary, sharing that tech with Tony during the invasion.

Both versions of Secret Wars heavily featured Doom as he ended up with Godlike powers and control over a whole universe, so the names registered lend itself to your idea.

Odin vs The Mandarin

This feels like a VERY short fight.

Well, considering Odin is currently dead (barring anything I missed in Love And Thunder), it will be a short fight unless multiverse crossovers happen.

Some rumors going around is Giancarlo Esposito and Moses Ingram will be in the Xmen film. They've recently met with Marvel. Rumor is Esposito could be Professor X, and Ingram for Storm.

It's What If...?, so it's likely the universe that's in that episode contains a living one.
Like the one with Party Thor. Odin's very much alive and... well, sleeping, technically.

I could see it, but I'd rather him as Magneto.

I'd rather Jeffrey Wright as Professor X. Just voicing the Watcher seems like a waste for him.

Nah. MUCH rather Michaela Cole here. Cole's gonna be in the new Black Panther though, and I doubt it's as Storm (one can only hope).

Thunderbolts

They should’ve built to this a lot sooner. We’ve already had Abomination, Ghost, and Zemo on the variously sized screens.

The storyline that was floated with him as Magneto and surviving the Rwandan genocide modernizes the holocaust storyline and puts a damn good actor in a role they could kill. I think that would be something people could get behind.

I’ve heard the same and I love Esposito for Magneto which is what he is rumored for. Though as a comic purist not sure how you can change Magneto’s background to fit. Hell no for Ingram.

Problem with Magneto, unless you either have time travel or make him immortal like Nick Fury, is that making him a Holocaust survivor is hard to pull off in modern stories.

One of the few reasons they could do that in the comics was him being reduced to a baby at one point before being aged back to the prime of his life. That shite won’t fly in the movies.

Kang and the TVA dumping him in present time from shortly after that time period? Doable in the frame of the MCU.

Good thing about Thunderbolts is that there have been so many members and versions over the years that you don’t have to be wedded to any one particular version of the team.

They could easily pull a lineup together out of a number of villains already present like the ones you mentioned plus a few others. Or they could add Hawkeye as their leader, or do something else entirely.

Could.

At least two other mutants have that as part of their power set, Apocalypse and Exodus.
