IDK. It seems to be like they are going to try to make him less perfect than in the past. This looks like it is going to take some time before he goes all hero. Which makes sense, you have to have some type of inner conflict to make this character interesting.

International Version has the same video except the voice over is Jor-El.

After Nolan's Batman trilogy, I'm done with superhero/comic-book movies. The Dark Knight Rises was a good one to end on.

I'm at the point now where I pretty much despise filmmakers who use their great talents to simply make reboots of the same movies everyone's already seen. Is there money in it? Sure. Fortunes. But they could do so much better. I mean, give us something original. I've personally had enough Batman/Spiderman/Superman for a couple of decades.

John Williams score is so damn iconic that I can't help but hear it in my head as this teaser is going on.

This trailer is nothing like the footage shown at Comic-Con last week. It’s a very handsome version of ‘Deadliest Catch’, then 5 seconds of Superman flying. Ohh, thank you sooo much Warner Brothers for this amazing footage. What a treat this was. Superman fishing is what they had in mind when they invented 3D.

Hans Zimmer is doing the score so you know it'll be good.

After watching it, I have to agree that it is extremely "meh." the one they showed at ComicCon was 100 times better.

F'ing this!

I'm excited for the movie, but that trailer was meh.

I had the exact opposite reaction. I wasn't really excited about the movie (I was until I heard that Snyder was directing), but the teaser actually made me really pumped up about it.

Here's the Comic-Con Trailer. Kind of blurry but very badass IMO.

I like it overall, but I'm not a fan of the color tones. It feels tacked on at this point.

I liked the trailer. Great hearing Russell Crowe's voice narrating it, I'm assuming he's Jor El in the movie but who knows.

I think it looks really cool. With Nolan involved in it, I really think this could be a great movie.

ETA: I read in this thread earlier that it was Kevin Costner's voice, the one I saw had Crowe's voice. I'm certain of it.

That guys camera sucks. Auto focus sucks.

That should have been the trailer before TDKR.

It was definitely Russel Crowe narrating when I saw the trailer yesterday.

Hopefully Power Girl will make an appearance in the movie.

When I first saw the trailer at the midnight showing of The Dark Knight Rises, I immediately thought of Terrence Malick. Don't know why.

I was thinking the same thing...

I saw the DC logo to begin with, saw the fishing boat and thought it was gonna be an aquaman movie for a second.

Yep, there are two versions of the trailer; one with Costner as Jonathan Kent and one with Crowe as Jor-el.
