Boilerplate is a term that means it is just a standard, formulaic letter. Lane basically said nothing in the letter other than, "I quit."

And yes, the previews show creepy Glenn is now after Megan...

Boilerplate is pretty much just a form letter.

Basically, it's a generic resignation letter with no explanation as to why he killed himself.

"Boilerplate" is slang for standard lingo. As in he just wrote a standard resignation letter with the usual language, nothing personal, no explanation or anything.

And that was an amazing episode.

Damn, y'all all type faster than I do or have better connections.

Oh and, three guesses on who Megan was talking to on the phone in the teaser.

I wonder if Joan (or whomever) will move up to CFO now?

Both Don and Roger were in top business form tonight. Roger schemed perfectly with Ken, kept a fire lit under Don's arse and nailed a cocktail waitress from RI or wherever.

Don slays a Jaguar and immediately goes after the big fish that broke his heart. He swapped between badass and nice guy 5 times in that conversation with Lane.

No signature scenes, but still the best episode of the season. It may rank up there with the best episodes all time.

That was a damn good episode but sad about Lane, he was a good character and we needed him to keep Pete in check. A shame that it had to go down like that and I have to wonder how all that will affect Don.

Shame to see Lane go...but that was inevitable.

Looks like Don might have another "Carousal" moment with Dow.

I would just like to say I had Lane in the death pool. Going to miss the dude though. Just sad the way it went down. Even a botched attempt. Jesus.

Glad to see Don back but wonder what Lane's death is going to do for him going forward. You know he's going to feel guilty as hell over it.

LOVED Ken asking for Pete to be on the outside on the Dow account if they land it.

As a chick I feel awful for Sally. Welcome to womanhood kiddo.

What a great episode though.

That's the big question although he shouldn't feel guilty....He had to do that to Lane. I can understand if he does take it a little rough though.

Great episode. I thought the beginning of this season was pretty weak, then the Lane/Pete fight, then another weak one or two, then the show went into overdrive and this has been a fantastic stretch. I really liked Lane, going to miss him. I know everyone thought he was going to grow into a serial killer, but Glen seemed pretty normal and had a few good one liners for a kid.

Can someone remind me on why Cosgrove doesn't like Pete? I remember they fought over the job back when it was still just Sterling Cooper, but I thought they were over it.

I'd imagine that Ken knows what everyone else seems to know. Pete is kicking arse and getting a rep as the go-to agency guy in town.

Plus Ken just got abandoned by Peggy (who promised that they'd leave SCDP together).

So right now, Ken's got a "frick this" attitude.

Loved his response to getting a partnership. HA!

Yeah, can't believe he'd turn down a partnership. I'm sure that Sterling was happy he did since they just gave 5% to Joan.

Was wondering what would happen with Lane's 10-12%. I guess that it goes to his wife, which the other partners will buy back.

I just started with season one (ep. 4) and I don't necessarily support monogamy but January Jones > Maggie Siff..

I'm not sure why but Maggie Siff just sucks the life out of every scene she is in. Her and Jax's relationship in SoA just feels so fake.

What is so appealing to Don Draper and Jax Teller?! Betty would make me consider settling down, Rachel Menken is equal to a cousin/family member, dont want!
