I hope its not a 4 hour infomercial for whater channels are showing it with some PG-13 Broadway dances and some SJW stories sprinkled in but Im probably wrong.

Are the 610 stompers embarrassing themselves this year. The absolute speechlessness of the announcers the first year they were there was great

My grandfather used to love this when I was growing up. Pretty much all fondness for the Parade is derived from him. Other than that, I don’t know why I watch this.

Same here. I remember watching the parade on a 13 inch black and white tv at our deer camp. I watch a few minutes every year even though its not the same.

They clearly lack the capacity for embarrassment.

Even being in CBS's VIP tent with unlimited hot chocolate and food brought to you could not make this experience like the worst, most boring Mardi Gras you've ever attended. So vanilla and lifeless.

Is Mardi Gras the only reference point you have for public gatherings?

At least no one is getting assaulted, shot at, or puked on.

The 2 minutes I saw while coming inside from frying the turkey was human versions of Spongbob Squarepants characters singing a song. All of them looked gay, except Squidward, funny enough.

What would possibly lead you to assume this? I think the most logical common reference point would be they both feature a PARADE.

Well it was a massive infomercial. I'm not sure about that other nonsense you're talking about. It was just an infomercial with useless factoids about the floats.
