Luke Perry dead at 52

Luke Perry, best known for his roles on Beverly Hills, 90210 and Riverdale, has died. He was 52.

His rep confirmed his death on Monday.

"Actor Luke Perry, 52, passed away today after suffering a massive stroke," the statement reads. "He was surrounded by his children Jack and Sophie, fiancé Wendy Madison Bauer, ex-wife Minnie Sharp, mother Ann Bennett, step-father Steve Bennett, brother Tom Perry, sister Amy Coder, and other close family and friends. The family appreciates the outpouring of support and prayers that have been extended to Luke from around the world, and respectfully request privacy in this time of great mourning. No further details will be released at this time."

So sad. what are the odds that literally the day they announced the reunion show he had a stroke.

Terrible to hear that. He had really turned his career and life around in recent years and seemed to be enjoying life.

Would actually be a pretty cool tribute having them all get together in his honor. Big Chill style.

He was apparently going to do some episodes but couldn’t commit to the whole run because of conflicts with his Riverdale schedule.

But it's supposed to be them playing themselves so they'd be talking about Luke Perry's death, which would be very weird since he wasn't going to do the show.
