Hey, if you want to take a win on the streaming numbers topic after a subpar theatrical run,

Never said if it was a win or loss. I provided info to the thread you started about streaming numbers lol

They don't like to actually discuss shows or TV. They just like to engage people.
Neither of them really discuss anything relevant. Sek started a thread on a 20 year old movie and didn't even talk about his thoughts on the movie.
His last post is posting his tiny list of movies he's seen in the last decade. But he and Madking have this queer back and forth.
And now mk will call me a liar for my opinion.
Repeat. This thread will die and they will have another and another talking about movies and shows they don't like yet have dozens of posts about.

Oh well I'm going to get back to watching my tv.

Sad that you have to put a disclaimer admitting you’re making shite up lol.

yes, I started with facts as given about it compared to other comparable movies.

I didn't dream up the numbers, just like I didn't dream up the box office failure.

And Gunn admits he may not be around, with the impending sale and questionable future of the entire DCU riding on his next couple of movies.

Which only confirms what was said BEFORE Superman ever came out. Gunn was the wrong choice for this, for the whole thing moving forward, but some just refuse to admit it.

It did worse than Aquaman 2

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom made $440 million. Superman's opening weekend was higher than Aquaman 2's domestic total.

What?

Based on what? OP's article doesn't mention Aquaman 2, and we only have two weeks of streaming data for Superman, so far.

There is no point. Sek has so many posts about this topic yet no personal opinion as he didn't actually watch the movie. He has an axe to grind against Gunn and will post any anti-Gunn posts he can. If only to upvote himself and get MK's approval too. Rinse repeat. But he's seen 22 whole movies in the last 20 years!!
And then mk will throw an insult or two. Have some stupid reply and they will respond back and forth with each other.

The point is. By SEK's metric Avatar is the best movie of all time. Since he's only worried about the numbers. While pretty much anyone will point to the critical reception for Superman is greater than the other movies mentioned. Black Adam was a bomb.
But he knows that. Its an agenda. He doesnt care about film or the content. He thrives off the arguing and sadly we get drawn into it.

Man of Steel (2013) sold more tickets than Superman (2025)

That's not 'opinion'. That's fact.

Why are people so obsessed with this movie?

I'm not a MAGA and find most of SouthEasternKiges post's to be repetitive and he has no original thoughts other than what some youtuber or neck beard tells him to think, but you are the worst poster on this board.

You bring politics into literally every thread. Just gtfo and cry somewhere else, preferably with the other politards like you.

I don’t know, maybe a better question is why James Gunn is so obsessed with ruining the character of Superman. Or who was it that thought that James Gunn would be a good idea to be leading the reboot of the DC universe?

Because clearly he hates or doesn’t understand the primary characters.

Those might be better questions to ask.

Most of us like or dislike this movie. Only one person is obsessed.

Better questions if you care about Superman, I suppose. I just don’t understand the obsession with this one particular comic book movie when there’s a hundred of them.

Saw some report on ticket sales for the 2 movies.

For all the chatter about money made, I think actual tickets sold was the better metric for comparing the two movies.
