“Toxic love story”- yes. It was like 4 documentaries in one. Don’t know how they managed that much crazy in one 1.5 hr show. At one point, I hit pause thinking it was over and ended up being 40% through.

Edit to add: Ms Rouxdee and I broke the record for how many “W.T.F.?” moments for a single show.

Yes. All 3 are legitimately crazy and they somehow managed to find each other. I do believe Michelle, though. She’s just regular crazy and not manipulative crazy like the other two.

I'm curious what the hell Ian had on Angela to where she pleaded guilty and said nothing about his part in all of it.

Yeah, that part doesn’t make much sense. People who lie about having cancer aren’t the type to fall on the sword for someone else, so she must have been scared of him.

Wife and I just watched this. There’s some weird f’ing people in this world.

True sociopaths and narcissists. Glad I’ve never had to deal with these types in any meaningful relationship.

Prob had something to do with her past and knowing a jury would never believe she was being ‘honest’ this time. That and the fact he was in law enforcement her claims would’ve been shot down quick esp since it appeared he was cooperating. I’m sure a plea as always reduced the sentence dramatically so there was pressure there.

Lowkey thought Michelle was going to announce her daughter's name was "Lilith" at the end of the show

That’s a missed opportunity for a Usual Suspects-type ending.

It sounds like it was written by a bunch of libtards.

If this was made as a movie and I knew nothing about it, I would think it was stupid because it was so far-fetched.

You'd have to be on acid to make this story up.

Yeah, I watch this crazy shite and that didn't make a lot of sense either. But you have to be careful with these documentaries on these streaming channels. The editing is not always truthful. The how you make a murderer one should prove that everyone.

Like someone said, it's amazing that these crazy fricking people find each other.

Might edit the title to the actual documentary title to get more input.

It was a very wild story. i knew early on something was up with the guy too because he just came across as fake in the body cam videos.

Obviously they were in it together but I don't see why the fake cancer girl would completely take the fall. Normally someone like that is all about themselves and doesn't take accountability for anything and would be blaming it totally on him.

I'm curious whose idea the fake pregnancy was. I know she faked cancer, but was that all part of his scheme as well?

I want to say that was probably her and he didn't know about it but I can also see a world where he knows about it and it makes it look worse to the cops that his "pregnant" finance is getting harassed.

Speaking of Netflix documentaries and fake pregnancies... If you haven't watched maternal instincts, you need to do so. That girl makes these two look like choir kids. Just a wild story.

I dated a girl in my past that lied about pretty much everything. Work, education, pregnancies, money, etc. Luckily got out of it before enough damage was done to make a documentary. At the time I thought she was one in a million next level crazy. But after watching docs on this, maternal Instinct, Sherri papini, amanda riley, I'm realizing that it's a lot more common. I don't understand how they think they will never be found out eventually.

I watched that, pretty fricking terrible. Unfortunately I know a woman like that who lied about an inheritance and scammed an entire community. Her husband ended up shooting himself when she was arrested. She's stolen at least 800k that I know of, but the court system is a joke and her case has been continued for years. Meanwhile she's out in a new state scamming new victims
