I hardly see it that way. The War of the Island officially started last episode, and most of the main characters are still alive. The only safe bets for who will be alive at the final episode are Jack, Hurley, and MIB (who will probably be destroyed by the end of it). I'm willing to bet the shite will hit the fan next week and it will be more of a bittersweet than a happy ending.

I just don't see them killing main characters off, even though I wish they would. Having Sayid and Clair beginning to change back into decent, sane people aggravates me.
I would love the final hour to have Jack, Sawyer, Kate, MIB, and Jacob (somehow) be the only people alive on the island and MIB convinces Jack, Sawyer, and Kate to kill each other off.

You're absolutely right.
I already knew that episode 14 was going to end on a cliffhanger and that episode 15 would not address that cliffhanger.

you know that 14 is the last episode before the presumed MIB/Jacob centric which is to have no series regulars.
if no series regulars will be in 15 you can presume you will not see much of a followup on 14 until the week after 15.

I was guessing that 14 will have a cliff hanger type ending because nearly all Lost episodes end in a cliff hanger. Its nothing new. I have no idea what it might be but I'm guessing it will be a cliff hanger since it will be two episodes later before that story pics up. Anyone saying that is a spoiler is nuts or just looking for a reason to bitch. I saw lots of stuff that could seriously be considered spoiler being posted by the high and mighty here when I was banned.
