I have really mixed feelings on this.... Im excited to see how it will end but I am glad it is over.
I was the biggest LOST fan through season 5 but this season has disappointed me. I just feel like they are rushing to get it over with and not settling enough.

It truly feels Super Bowl Sunday-esque today. I never want it to end, but I also really want it to in a sense.

Most people who have a beef with this season say the opposite that it has been going to slow. Season 5 actually greatly disappointed me, but I've really enjoyed this season, aside from a certain episode. This does have potential to be the best season considering it has a satisfying conclusion, and the sideflashes need to be mind blowing since I need to know why I should invest my time in this alternate universe.

Who is actually going to watch it live?
I think I might start an hour and a half after the 2 hr. recap starts and that way I'll be able to really take in the whole experience.

See I disagree.... I know Im not going to get answers but there are so many plots that we have gone through that have been left hanging.
One huge one this season and it ties into previous seasons... Desmond met with Farraday and he said "I think I already detonated one" and that was it..... WTF, come on.... we need more explanation of what he meant, what he was thinking, explain time travel, yada yada yada
How is any of that relevant to the overall plot?
Maybe they can tie in the pushing of the button, time travel, dharma, etc in this last 2 1/2 hrs but I doubt it.
Just seems like there were so many ways they could have gone with it and tied up but they were like "frick it, lets take the story a different direction"

I think its implied once you've been enlightened, you remember your life on the Island. Hurley seemed to remember Ana Lucia, despite the fact he never really had a conversation with her on the Island. So Faraday probably remembers dying, but he took a guess that his plan succeeded.

I agree that they are going to certainly have to justify for using about 5 hours of the plot of the season for the sideflashes. I just hope it doesn't disappoint.

We needed to see the Temple, and we needed a prominent Other there, all of which are dead except for Richard and Ben, who are obviously busy doing something else. At least they gave us a pretty bad arse character to deal with.

I think Dogan will also be at this concert everyone is going to and I think that's when we may get some answers to why he was important.

But what was the point of the temple? Or the pool? Or what was their occupation?
Again, so many questions come from introducing that.... Just kind of pisses me off but I still love the show.
I just think they could go back and do the series completely over and stream line it.

Constant barely missed my top 10. Its definitely in the top 15. I just think the Constant is slightly over rated. Its an amazing hour of television and fantastic story telling, I just prefer all 10 of these episodes over it. I personally think Flashes gets the shaft when the Constant is always the poster child for a good LOST episode.
