I see Jin killing jack at the end of the season to stop him from setting off the bomb. I just don't see Jin allowing Jack to wipe out his baby and his relationship with his wife.
Hell for all we know, it is the stinking bomb that causes the incident.

This tunnel system on the island with it's many different rooms, entrances, and vast-ness is reminding me of the LSU tunnel system.

Pretty sure a lot of people are coming to that conclusion.

Oh god! I sure hope they don't end it like Stephen King ended the Dark Tower. Even though I didn't mind the Dark Tower ending, it will piss me off if they do it on Lost.

did anyone else notice that Eloise might have had a tummy bulge [she's pregnant] in the episode or was that just me
Also Charles said something about her condition. Pretty sure she is pregnant with Daniel here.
Speaking of that, do we know who Penny's mom is? Could she and Daniel be full blooded brother/sister? Hell, they could be twins, though Penny seems older than Daniel. If they can try to pass Ethan off as that young, they can do it with Penny. In '77, Charles has already been on the island for a long time, so I doubt he had her with a previous wife and left her unless he left the island to get someone pregnant. I haven't seen a little Penny running around the island.
ETA: I reread this post. Sorry for the rambling. I could hardly determine what I was saying, and I said it.

The box doesn't seem big enough to hold jughead. I could be wrong.

I think Christian told someone (Locke maybe?) that he was not Jacob, but he could speak for him.

Yep.

Ben is going to go apeshit crazy. He is not used to being out of control and Locke keeps surprising him more and more.
By the way, the casting person that picked Michael Emerson deserves full kudos. He has been fantastic as Ben and his creepy eyes add to the overall effect.

So she killed her own son while she was pregnant with him.

If you remember, Ben told John... Imagine a box, where whatever you wished for would appear. Where's this box and how does it work?
I thought Ben showed John that box when he delivered his dad to him.

I dont think anything ever comes of the bomb... Think about it, Locke brought Ben and Richard to the aircraft so Richard could tell Ben what to do. Ellie was supposed to shoot Faraday....So in that sense, these situations have been playing themselves over and over again.
Everthing that is happening now, led up to what was in 2007.
We already know that Ben doesnt take over for another 10+ years, thus they will still be on the island, live in the same houses, etc...
If the Bomb goes off, none of that takes place. The bomb cannot go off. That would change the outcome of everything. (2X + Y = Z) X and Y can change, but Z will always remain the same.

Christian is Jacob's spokesmen, not Jacob himself. Jacob had been on the Island a long, long time before Flight 815 crashed, and when Locke mentioned him in the 50s, he was apparently around back then.

The bomb was in 1954, not 2004-2007.

I don't remember him showing him the box.. I remember him taking Locke to his dad tied up in a room.
If that was the box.. I'd still like to know how it worked. Before James killed Locke's dad, he talked like he thought he had died and that he was in hell. He described being in a car and then waking up on the island. Wonder if he flashed to the island.... hmmmmmmm

Its not that Jack would kill the child, its just Jack is counting on whipping the slate clean to where the plane never crashes. I'm not sure Jin would be fully against this since he may believe there is no possible way he could see his wife again unless he does this.
And I think its highly, highly, highly likely that Jack does indeed cause the Incident and he is the reason why he came to the Island in the first place. There is actually little doubt he does cause it.

The Bomb may not go off the way a normal H-bomb should due to the Island's electromagnetism, to where it doesn't wipe everyone off the Island. It may store up Jughead's energy, to where the button being pushed is essentially holding some of Jughead's power back.

Jin would know that the child would be gone. Lets not get into an abortion debate over this, but it would end the childs existence.
Jin is honorable. I belive Jin would rather have a child and wife he can't see to no child and a broken relationship with Sun.
In fact we already know this since he told Locke to tell Sun to never come back to the Island.
