And fyi, there are non whites in Tolkien’s Middle Earth. Has you ever read the books…
, never mind. That’s expecting too much. Amazon had plenty of room to explore & mine the ample realms of Harad & the Southrons.
But F all that. We needed muh black dwarves, harfoots, elves. Which never existed in Tolkien’s work!!

FYI, as GOP demonstrates, quite a lot of people don't require racial purity in their fantasy adaptions to enjoy the adapted product. I tend to find the Venn diagram of those that seem to be all melty over racial purity in Tolkien is a flat circle with those that already spend in inordinate amount of time on the internet immersed in white identity politics. Which 9 times out of 10 is just the thin layer draped on top of the racism underneath. Which meat tits showed us yesterday when he just came out and said it.

The guy that's throwing the biggest fit in here hasn't even read the books so I wouldn't take up sides with him. He thinks Tolkien had an all white "cast" in LOTR

Im not a democrat. And Tolkien is my favorite author of all time, I'm not going after his work dumbass. I never even wanted this show to be made unlike most casual LOTR fans because this source material is impossible to do justice. But I'm also not dumb enough to think that this show can negatively impact Tolkiens legacy like you. I've also read the all of his works and not just watched the movies like you.
I do know that most of the people debating here, whether they think it will be good or bad, woke or not, have read the source. It's very clear that you havent, so your strong opinion on Tolkien doesn't really mean anything. Stick to talking about the movies and the trailer, because you don't know what the hell you're talking about when it comes to Tolkien.
