I don’t really get this.
1. They’re just set photos. I don’t know how much you can really take away based on a handful of photos.
2. Despite that, they look much more polished than the WoT photos that were released before that show started. At least to me. I’m kind of surprised anyone would say this looks “cheap”:

As I've seen other comments about this subject it almost seems like they're going out of their way to destroy a cherished piece of British/western culture.
They could do a fantasy show that is D&D and have all the woke stuff in the world. Whatever races, genders, sexual orientations and such because that fits D&D which is random as hell. Yet they released a D&D cartoon that has all the heroes being white. Scanlan is a womanizer and is a beloved character.
It just doesn't make any sense unless they're purposely trying to attack British/western culture when it comes to LOTR.

They WANTED this. They EXPECTED fans to react this way, and they didn't care. They did it anyway, in spite of fans of all ages, races, genders, etc...
The woke do not CARE about the story. It's just a platform for them to corrupt and spread their agenda. Nothing more.
* And it's not just Tolkien. See virtually ever other IP that Hollywoke has corrupted in the past several years.
Star Wars, Doctor Who, Terminator, Star Trek, Marvel, DC, hell, even Ghostbusters! And much more.
