quote:Excellent point here.
MO Tony Starks death coincided with Thanos defeat as the only way out of millions of possibilities to defeat Thanos because Tony Stark had to die. He had already just discovered Time travel and if left alive he would have discovered what Nathaniel Richards (Kang) was supposed to discover in 3100.
Kang/He Who Remains picked up the threads of Stark's ideas a millennia later. Time travel, leading to crossing over to other universes. Nanotech, started as the suits with the Extremis tech, used to shape his touchpad device. Advanced AI, Jarvis evolves to Miss Minutes.
If Tony survives Endgame, in any chance/universe, that Tony becomes He Who Remains 1000 years earlier, and prevents Kang from ever developing. So, there is no timeline where Tony survives that battle. He either doesn't explore it and the Snap endures, or he does, and stops Thanos with a mutual death.
So ALL "sacred timelines" start AFTER Endgame; after Tony has done the heavy lifting on the theory. His research gives Kang the advantage, over universes without that happening.

The question I have is more related to Dr Stange. What did he know about the future timelines of Kang? If his solution is in fact supposed to save humanity, then is makes no sense why 1000 years later it jeopardizes everyone all over again.

Just watched this. I liked it but if they’re going all in on this multiverse thing then good lord this shite is going to get really complicated.

I think they had a after credit scene planned that they had to scratch because the movies weren’t released to move the story along to where they needed for the scene.

He used the Time Stone to figure that out. It's gone now, so he can't go do that again and figure out a path to stop Kang 1000 yrs later.

That's why they have to time travel to get them; it's not that it's easier to travel in time than to fight Thanos, it's that they no longer exist.
Bruce got the Time Stone from the Ancient One, and Steve returned it to her (he brought them all back where they came from). That was in New York during Loki's invasion with the Chitauri... which is before Thanos eliminated them.
There's no "Thanos time loop" with the Stones. He gathers them and destroys them.
He travels in time using Nebula's gear, coming forward to the Endgame period. He tries to use the Stones the Avengers gathered, before they return them.
Tony snaps him out of existence there, so he can no longer travel time; otherwise he could go back and get them himself like they did.
