Is Zack Snyder involved in any way, shape, or form?

Chris McKay, who most recently directed the Lego Batman Movie for Warner Bros., is in negotiations to helm the new film, and Bill Dubuque (The Accountant) is writing the script.

Yeah, finally get someone with talent who understands the characters from your animation department to lead a film. It only took you 8 god damn films, many of which I assume are abortions, to think of this.

Matt Reeves and Chris McKay in one day?

What a shitshow!

Pretty sure Breesus is pounding on Chris McKay's door with one hand, his Nightwing trilogy synopsis in the other.

I do not believe this.

But

But if true, would hope it's like Deadpool, related but separate from the current timeline.

One of the Top 5 heroes of all time in his own movie disconnected from the walking plot device? That's a good thing.

Dick Grayson >>>>> Bruce Wayne

And he might be the most important DC hero not named Kal-El.

Great job WB. Now let them do their thing and stay out of their way in all aspects.

Well this just may be a great film. Good job, D.C.

Depends on which generation Dick Grayson/Nightwing. He's lived and grown up over time, you have some choices, and range, to work with.

I think it'd mostly depend on any Teen Titan-type plan if that's also in play.

If you're skipping that, a good late-20s actor is probably your best bet.

The dude from Teen Wolf that played Superman on the Supergirls TV series would be a solid pick. So would Matt Bohmer.

:nb4JGL:

They'll probably cast McLovin

His replacement is already long dead, so he'd be an adult, mid-20's at the extreme youngest.

If they wanted to go early 30's I would toss Milo Ventimiglia's name in the mix.

This is cool and all but all this really tells me is WB still has frick all for an overarching plan for the universe.

Ok, so now we have the batman solo film, gotham city sirens, nightwing and Suicide squad 2. Doesn't it feel like it's becoming the Batman cinematic universe?
