the least they could've done is get actors/actresses who look like the people they are playing and why is the guy playing Mario Lopez fat?

Honestly Mario Lopez still looks young enough that he could have just played himself.

I'll watch this, but I expect it to be horribly terrible. And that picture doesn't do anything to make me feel otherwise.
And from what I understand, this will be fairly based on Dustin Diamond's stupid arse attention whoring book from several years ago. I expect this movie will treat the in-cast sex as some huge deal, and MPG and Lark Voorhies dated for like two or three years during the show's run, so imagine that will also be a main focus. I'm sure they'll throw in some drama about how Dustin Diamond was like three years younger than everybody else so he didn't fit in that well. shite like that.

Lifetime movie's are incredibly over the top and if Screech's book is the source material this should be terrible yet amazing. The potential is there for them to top the campy awesomeness of Jesse's Song.

i agree. that guy playing screech doesn't look screechy enough at all.. he almost looks too cool to play screech. the others are good enough.

It looks like they didn't even try to get similar looking actors outside of hair and skin color.
