you think the RW will have the same effect as the end of season 3 of downton abbey? my wife quit watching GOT after ned and drogo died. she would definitely quit after the RW. losing major characters can be a turn off

This is why, imo, they will end with the PW. Everyone will be pissed about RW and the death of Joffrey will balance it out.

Same here. I feel like it will almost be necessary to counteract the anger. Ending with Cersei saying arrest the imp would be great. Also feel like it kinda has to be in since the whole KL storyline is building up the wedding.

I still see them leaving Joffrey until season 4. The season finale is title "Mhysa" so I'm guessing it will focus more on Dany.

Definitely. You will have the depressing Tyrion-Sansa wedding, followed by the utter shock and awe of the RW, and just when you think it's over, PW!
To add to it, Jack Gleason (Joffrey) has said he will be done acting to pursue his schoolwork after GOT. Can't see them bringing him back for just one or 2 episodes next season

Probably. But Myhsa means "mother" so that could also tie into Cersei cradling Joffrey after he dies.
