Anyone watch last night?

Didn't realize it was back on - I did not watch it. I didn't know about it until earlier this year and binge watched in May.
I couldn't get Mrs. Midnight interested, so I'll have to go alone.

It's becoming known for having pretty big stars for just one episode

It was pretty good. Nowhere near as good as it has been I didn't think.

I thought last night's episode was good.
I thought Tandy was clueless, but tolerable. My least favorite episodes are when he's completely insufferable.
I think the tradition of quest stars with actual name recognition showing up for the first 14 seconds in the season opener is a fun signature for the show.
Kristen Wiig's character is not going to make me miss her whenever they run out of money to pay her and have her exit.
The team is more urban scavenger than survivalist, so we'll see what happens on that island.

Yeah last night was the right amount of Tandy

"Oh no! He's reassembling!!"

I prefer the season 1 Phil to the Tandy the clown we have now. He's still funny, but I just like the other version better when he was just about getting drunk and laid.

Watched it. Loved it. My favorite comedy on TV right now, closely followed by Brooklyn 99.

They should let him have his eyebrows back.

I liked it a lot actually. I know Wiig gets a lot of hate, but I think she's perfect for a show like this.
Loved having Jack Black go so quickly too. I was like Oh, Jack Black...I wonder when he's......oh, nevermind. I figured they'd at least get a little play out of him, similar to Will Ferrell. But him dying so quickly was awesome, especially from Pat whom we just saw get shot in the head. That was great.
I do think S1 Phil is far and away the best Phil, but I agree that this episode was just the right amount of Tandy.
Interested to see what the island brings.

This show never stops being funny but I think the Tandy from season 2, 3, and 4 pales in comparison to the one from the first season. He wasn't as stupid, he was a horrible person and it made for hysterically awkward moments

I'm not a fan, but this role was written for her. Either that or they cast it perfectly.

I kind of abandoned the show during either Season 1 or 2, cannot remember which. It was hard for me to like the main character, as he just became more and more of a douchebag to me. He might not be now, but I just didn't find it entertaining to see him be horrible to people.

Finally got around to it.
I continue to have high hopes for this show.

i liked Tandy playing mind games on her. damn he was smooth.
How do we know Chris Elliott is immune to the virus? He could be just like Tandy's brother.

Good point but they'll probably gloss over that like usual. The fact he didn't know about the virus was a clever storyline, I expected him to burst out laughing or at least be skeptical when Carol told him about it.
