HBO’s Lanterns season finale attracted 10.5 million global viewers in its first three days, marking a new series-best.
The episode, which debuted on October 4, was up 13% globally compared to the series premiere in L3. It tallied 7.2 million viewers in the U.S. alone, per the latest data from Skydance-owned HBO.
Overall, the season is averaging 19.3 million global viewers and growing, maintaining its place among the top five HBO series launches in platform history. HBO says that viewership for the series premiere is now approaching 30 million.
This bodes well for its Season 2 renewal, which Deadline understands is pending.

There's an 80 page thread on Lanterns. Are you so concerned your bait won't be seen by enough people that you need to start a new topic?

And it still sucked

I mean, it is kind comical that the first person to take this bait has a fish as a profile picture.

Vanity Fair
So according to OP, Lanterns drew the same viewing numbers as the most watched show in HBO history’s most viewed episode. Lol sure

If that's how you interpret that exchange I'm glad I could provide some joy in your life.

Based on that one and all your others on the 80 page thread, yes, that is how I and likely quite a few others interpret that exchange.

I think you're misreading. Lanterns is averaging 19 mil, that's over several weeks. For GOT, that sounds like opening day numbers

Why do you always reply like that? What exactly is so funny? GOT has superior numbers. Is that supposed to be funny?

Your OP is filled with intentionally misleading nonsense like any article misrepresenting viewing numbers.

That's fine, deadline is click bait, sure. Will you provide us with your data so we can review?

The data is this is false or at best intentionally misleading.

Hopefully they don't take the wrong message from this and try to build off what was a truly awful series.
