Saw it this week. Really good. Reminded me of Clue and other old murder mystery whodunits. Kept me guessing throughout. Good ensemble cast. Recommend.

Rian Johnson directed. He should stick to these kind of movies. I’d love more like this.

He was way out of his comfort zone with The Last Jedi.

It is not that Star Wars can't have comedy. Heck, the Mandolarian has a ton of comedic spots in it.

It is that you must portray the characters as serious. Luke, for example, simply attaching the light saber to his belt and saying "I knew this would happen" and walking away from Rey would have registered much better with the fan base.

It is a question of timing. The climactic scene where Darth Vader reveals he is Luke's father is not cut in with a fifteen second fart gag.

This is different. Really good. Forget about TLJ. I didn’t know he directed it until the closing credits and I was surprised he did a good job with it.

It’s a good movie.

This movie was really excellent. Great mix of humor and drama. Well written, acted, directed, etc. just an extremely fun movie with lots of great twists and turns. The political stuff is mostly used to lambast both sides and make the family members that much more ridiculous. TLJ sucks. Knives Out is awesome. It deserves the acclaim it’s getting.

Why would you be surprised?

He’s an absolutely excellent filmmaker that really fricked up Star Wars.

This is his element.

Lol at anyone that would deprive themselves of seeing one of the most fun movies of the year because the director did a different movie they didn’t like

Good, entertaining movie. 7/10

It's amazing to me how plain, yet exceedingly beautiful, Ana de Armas can look at the same time.

It’s hard to blame them. TLJ earned RJ a lifetime’s worth of scorn from nerds across the galaxy. I completely understand the skepticism, but this is a really good movies.

Just depriving myself of the cinema experience. In a few weeks I can steal it.

Let me put it this way. Every work that Rian Johnson has done except for The Last Jedi has been fantastic while pretty much every non-Spielberg film Kathleen Kennedy has produced has sucked. Who’s the real problem with Star Wars?

that was definitely on purpose and sets up the KFC joke.

This movie is a lot of fun. Rian needs to pump out more original movies like this and looper.

Saw this last night. It was really good. Daniel Craig was great

It pisses me off that Rian Johnson can make great stuff like this and Looper but completely botch something as big as SW just to "subvert expectations".

SPOILERS:

Kinda figured Chris Evans' character was in on the whole thing. After not appearing for most of the movie, he comes in and plays a big part of the third act. Was a little obvious he had something to do with it, but still a nice twist to not make Marta the reason he committed suicide.

Finally caught it earlier today.

It was decent. I thought they wasted a great cast. The family was pretty much fodder in the second half of the movie.

It was way too obvious that Chris Evans was a bad guy

I enjoyed the movie. My main takeaway is that I think I’m in love with Ana de Armas.

I really want to see this. It looked this from the trailers. Glad to see that's what it is.

Good, not great movie. de Armas is beautiful in everything. I prefer Daniel Craig in this and Logan Luckey than as James Bond.

Too much vomit.
