Great movie. Why doesn’t it get more love in the great sports movies category? It’s certainly up there with happy Gilmore... maybe better.

Ernie McCracken is one of the great characters of all-time.

Might be a top five comedy for me. Great movie. Not exactly a sports movie though.

That's one of the most random out of nowhere funniest scenes. It's just one stupid line and the movie doesn't dwell on it but you keep laughing for a few minutes more.
I mean, the writing in this movie is brilliant.
Just when you think theres a lull, they pull a rabbit out of the hat.
