hank gives off the impression that he has propane in his blood, but he does use charcoal as well, as evidenced in his video plea to the dallas cowboys to move their training facility to arlen.

here is the exact part of the episode

i just happened to catch this episode last night. where is the propane tank? why does it appear that hank is cooking over hot coals?

hank hill is not the type of man i thought he was. i'm not mad, just disappointed.

i haven't seen every episode, but i know hank hill is an adamant advocate of propane. i remember him liking the taste of a charcoal burger at one point, but when i think hank hill, i think propane. now, when i think hank hill, i'll think sleazy salesman. (that's taking it too far, but i'm trying to make a point)

in one episode hank was the star RB in high school and bill was a linemen. Then in another, Bill was the TD record setting Billdozer and Hank was an OL.

the point it, in this episode he is obviously using charcoal to try and lure the Dallas training camp to Arlen.

Not a trustworthy man at all.

I always thought the Billdozer was the short yardage specialist. Right guard until they got inside the 2, and then use the dozer to punch it in.

the video of him using using charcoal was a flashback of him as a younger man obviously before he bacame a propane lover

that being said even if he did once in awhile use charcoal it dosnet make him a bad person Hank Hill is a stand up guy we should all aspire to be like

Bill was a short yardage specialist but regularly an offensive lineman

In one episode Peggy's mom is a rancher in Montana who hates Peggy, in another, she's a housewife in Arlen.

Peggy and Bobby had to sneak off and cook on a charcoal grill.

It was the episode where Kahn moved in next door. Hank brought a tank of propane as a welcome gift but Kahn was cooking burgers over charcoal. All the guys were standing around the pit saying that Kahn was burning the burgers. Once they were served, they all liked it and hank says something to the effect of they could get along despite their differences.

yeah kahn's mom was a housewife, but there are inconsistencies with Peggy's mom too.
