Does anyone remember which episode opens with Doug using a mini fridge as a night stand?

Underrated in so many ways. Seems to get better with age too.

I was thinking of the episode of Rosanne where Dan went to talk Becky's boyfriend into moving back into their house, but the guys he was living with had a mini-fridge of beer in their den and the NFL cable package and Dan wanted to move in with them.

I found it, it’s “Life Sentence”.

It took me forever because I was using the YoutubeTV DVR /On Demand to find it. The mini fridge scene is a cold opening. It’s edited out of the syndication reruns.

The name "Minibar" reminds me of one of my favorite episodes, "Lush Life," where Doug gives Carrie a few cocktails after work because it puts her in a better mood. Lou finds out and tells Arthur and Arthur seems pissed because Doug's intentionally getting Carrie drunk.

Then 2 second later, they cut to Arthur...

The episode where he thinks Deacon is spending more time with that black guy because he has “black needs” was on the other night. I hadn’t laughed so hard in a while

Absolutely. I find myself watching multiple times a week and I still laugh at it.

Lou Ferrigno was underrated too. Not that his acting was great but the writing for his character was great. Just the scenario of Lou Ferrigno gossiping with all the women in the neighborhood makes me laugh.

Loved the episode where he sold Doug the home gym and pretended to train Doug. I've seen many of these episodes so many times.

But when I saw the thread title, I thought the question was going to be how did Doug land Carrie?

It went from Doug taking out the trash so he could just get a glimpse of Lou Ferrigno to Doug walking in on Carrie slathering body coloring on almost naked Lou and Doug not even noticing.

His screwdriver with the A from the typewriter. He tells the high kid at the hardware store "just put it in the corresponding A hole."
