I don't know... here's a Times Picayune report (from '03) of the Charlotte Murray Pace investigation and the fact that BRPD refused to follow a lead of neighbors reporting a man hanging around the day of her murder. I'm not sure if this is the same murder that was the source of the urban legend that's been spread of one of the victims calling the police and being ignored.

An operator refusing service for a black guy possibly beating his dick off in a driveway is just a little different than someone not doing a composite of a black guy the neighbor claimed to see around the house the day of the murder. Cmon bro you filled in the rumor yourself

Totally agree. I even mentioned that I'm not sure if it was the same victim. Just shows a pattern of neglecting potential evidence due to the profile.

My connections to Derrick Todd Lee:
1. My wife grew up with, was good friends and neighbors with Randi Mebruer, an early victim. They grew up together.
2.I grew up with, was friends and went to school with the husband of Gina Green.
3. I saw Pam Kinamore daily when she dropped her kid off at Parkview Baptist.
4. I have had business dealings with the family of Dene Colomb (post-murder).
It freaks me out that I have that many connections and I have always thought he killed a LOT more.

I can promise you one thing, he did in fact, get Mari Ann Fowler. If you look back at the evidence, you can see a "Maroon" truck in the back ground. It is said, that his truck was, in fact, maroon. His cell phone, also pinged on the tower that controls that area off of lobdell. The chances of that are almost one in a million. It is often theorized, that he kidnapped and killed her because she looked like Ann Marino, Pan Kinamores mother, who was so strong in the fight for justice against DTL. May they all rest in peace!

Yes. Many people from DOW were swabbed, because they thought the killer worked in a local plant. Anyone with a white truck, was swabbed. (including many of my friends) Why cant they look closer into the DNA and determine if the killer was of African American decent like with DTL?

Don't think I'd heard that part, but I was aware of the cell phone pings and a truck resembling his. He wasn't an identified suspect at the time, though, was he? So, how could Pam's mother be going after him yet?
Do you think he'd been following Fowler? It seemed random at the time and the location was somewhat risky.

I dont know how he would identify Pam's mother. It was mentioned in a book. Many LE said, they thought it was him, especially, after his cell phone hit that tower. He was out of jail at the time, but the whole Christmas Eve thing, kind of threw me off. Pam's mother never went after him, but often voiced her brash opinions of him. To this I say, "Good for her". To do what he did to these poor women, is inconceivable.

But, did Pam's mother know who he was before Fowler was kidnapped? The timing doesn't seem to fit, but I could have that wrong.
I don't have any idea if he's responsible for Eugenie's death. DNA from two males in her underwear that doesn't match his DNA throws everything off for me. She was a girl going through some problems from what I gather. It's just hard to say.

Yes, I am assuming he did. Why? Because he was making a mockery of LE in Baton Rouge and Mary Ann Marino was an active voice being on TV often and speaking out against the police and the "killer". Poor Eugenie. Yes, I must agree. She seemed to have many problems.

I really assumed that even if DTL was the Fowler kidnapper, he did that randomly because he saw the opportunity. I assumed she was an unplanned unlucky victim.
